My favorite image from Sami and David’s wedding is actually from their bridal session after the wedding. I wish more couples would choose to do bridal sessions (especially with Joshua Albanese Photography), because it’s so awesome to be able to spend one-on-one time with them and we always capture some great images.
Sami was probably our most glamorous bride of the year, especially with that dress. What I love about this image is the contrast between her ethereal beauty and the gritty decay behind her. Sami and David are Chicago natives and had a swanky Michigan Avenue wedding, so showcasing them in a cityscape was more true to their roots than, say, a wheat field. Sami and David also have backgrounds in theater and brought some pretty fierce moves to the shoot. Love it!
