I had the pleasure of shooting Gianna Greek Orthodox Baptistism last Saturday. I am Italian as most of you curious people know and I thought we went all out for parties. Well, the Greeks have taken that medal as far as I am concerned. Rightfully so, this was Gianna’s first step into the church culture and faith and while documenting her ceremony I couldn’t help but get involved into every scripture they recited.
I will say for any future photographers Greek’s make it easy for us because everything is done in three’s so if you missed it the first time rest assured it will happen 2 other times! I found this to be comforting since some things move so fast and that second pass assured I could grab the perfect shot I envisioned. Dina and Charles, Gianna parents, spent a great deal of time planning this event and it shows in the details of her day.
I am very grateful to be able to be apart of her day and wish I could show more photographs on this blog.

Dina Zembillas - Beautiful pictures Joshua! I can’t wait to share them with friends and family. Her baptism was a perfect day and with your help you captured the important moments that we will treasure forever!
