Tony and Rose’s wedding brought Joshua Albanese Photography to the small suburb of Chicago’s North Shore, Winnetka.  Rose’s hometown, Winnetka is also home to the Winnetka Community House, built in 1911 and on the National Register of Historic Places.

It is a charming wedding venue with lovely brickwork and an English garden, which is where Tony and Rose chose to have their ceremony.  Bathed in dappled sunlight, The Garden Under the Arches frames a grove of trees that make guests feel like they’re sitting out in the European countryside.  A stone path provides a natural aisle to guide couples to the open-air altar.  With a setting this beautiful, there is little need for decorations or flowers besides a few simple arrangements.  The arches allow a gentle breeze to flow through the garden, keeping guests comfortable.

This venue would also be great for a North Shore wedding reception, and we hope to bring Joshua Albanese Photography back again soon!
