Whether it’s because it’s an easy to remember anniversary or because it’s considered to be an auspiciously lucky date, Katie and Jack picked the perfect date for their wedding at The Herrington Inn and Spa in Geneva, Illinois.
Katie’s gown hung in the suite while the teams from Susie Lee Hair and Makeup and Salon Blonde pretty-fied her. Katie’s Sylvain Blanc gown had elegantly simple lines that showcased her natural beauty. And her sparkly accessories were a great pick to complement her gown and gorgeous curls.
O’cie Floral provided the greenery and flowers for Katie and Jack’s wedding. Katie’s contemporary bouquet was absolutely amazing.
Their cake, from The Cakery, featured delicate flowers cascading down the layers.
I love the accessories Katie and Jack selected for each other– the pocket watch especially makes me think of The Gift of the Magi and the beautiful exchange of love in both couples’ stories.
Katie chose to make her journey down the aisle independently with a confident smile to her groom waiting at the altar. Friends and family packed the ceremony and contributed to the candlelit ambiance.
We love a group who knows how to party, and Katie and Jack’s crowd showed us how to do it! Matt from A Posh Production – one of our favorites – kept the revelers on the dance floor (that is, when they weren’t outside enjoying a fine cigar).
Jack looks like a man more than happy to have a ring around his finger, a drink in his hand, and a stunning girl in his arm. Love it!
Katie and Jack, your wedding was so much fun! May the luck that started your marriage carry throughout the years.
