Bridal shows seem to be a necessary evil in the wedding industry, both for the to-be-wedded and vendors, alike. They’re crowded for a reason – it’s a great place to gather lots of wedding inspiration, vendor information, to see samples of albums in-person, and to eat cake. It’s intense, but well worth the small admission fee and crowds. Especially when famous wedding designers are also there to show their latest gowns on the runway.
My very first wedding with Joshua Albanese Photography was Keri and Dan’s Joliet Union Station wedding. Keri chose an Ines Di Santo gown that I instantly fell in love with – the feathers rocked my world. Keri was such a classic and timeless bride, and I have to admit that secretly, (or not so much now), she has always been my favorite. When we found out that her gown designer would be at the bridal show, we all but completely geeked out.
The wonderful folks from the Luxury Bridal Expo were very kind and accommodating, and we were able to pose for a photograph with Ms. Di Santo and her daughter, Veronica Di Santo, before the bridal show started.
We thank you so much for this incredible opportunity and we’re looking forward to working with you again next year!
